Abdollah Fadl - The New YOU Transformation Winner.

I would like you to meet Abdollah Fadl.

I came across Abdollah when he was competing in 2022 The Radical Body Transformation, held in Ontario where he placed 2nd.  I seen his transformation pictures and had a chance to speak with him. I was intrigued with Abdollah not only because of his transformation but his charisma as well. He shows a passion for fitness and you can see the enjoyment with his stage presence.

Abdollah has also competed in the 2022 WNBF The New YOU Transformation category in Kelowna wherein he placed 1st!

His hard work has taken him from 330lbs now down to 195lbs, his aspirations is to compete in Natural Bodybuilding.

I invite you to read his story.

  • Tell us a little bit about yourself? Where are you from and when did you come to Canada?

I am 32 years old. I am a father, a teacher, and I have strong connections with my family. i am Muslim, and my role as a teacher is Islamic studies, and the Quran. I am an artist, and spend time doing calligraphy. I immigrated to Canada in June 2018 from Cairo, Egypt.

  • When did you begin to workout?

My fitness journey began in July 2019.

  • You competed in the WNBF - New YOU Transformation, what made you go into this category?

I competed in this category because I want everyone to know, and hear about my story. I have worked extremely hard to get to where I am. I want others to know that this transformation is possible. Competing in the New YOU category is the first step for me. I am inspired to be a bodybuilder. This is the first stop in a continued journey.

  • How has your fitness journey been? Is it what you expected?

My fitness journey has been awesome, enjoyable, and so much fun. It is not anything that I expected. It was my goal to lose weight, and with my continued dedication and consistency it has become a lifestyle.

  • What was your training regiment like? Were there days that you said enough is enough and waned to walk away?

To prepare for the New YOU competition I trained 5-6 days a week, followed a nutritional plan as prescribed by my trainer, and did regular cardio and focused on Non Exercise Activities (NEAT). Never EVER did I think of walking away. I find weight training to be therapeutic, meditative, and enjoyable. The second I walk into the gym my passion is ignited.

  • You are an elementary teacher? How did you balance being a full - time teacher and your workout routine?

I believe that if you are dedicated to something and enjoy it, YOU will find time. I woke up daily at 3AM to be at the gym for 5AM. I completed my training prior to the beginning of my work day at 8am.

  • What is next for you?

The next step for me is to continue living a healthy lifestyle. I am training to compete as a bodybuilder in natural shows. I am dedicating the time that it will take to get to the required physique. I will continue to work just as I have been since the beginning of my journey. This is only the beginning for me. My future goal is to earn a pro card.

  • What is your message to someone who will read your story?

I DID it, and YOU can do it! It is easy, and it is hard at the same time. I am here to support, and motivate you on your own fitness journey.
